Long N Fustrating week!!!

It's been a tiring week again. I finally did finish encrptying all the files needed for the firewall and now last thing to do is to create the password and username details in order for each individual user to log into the website. This prove to be a difficult task as a lot of understanding is needed which is why it make me sometimes give up after having so many errors.

I will be finally getting some sample exam questions tomorrow for the exam which is taking place on the 10th december as it's a open book exam so hopefully i can score for this paper. this leave me with about 2 weekd to prepare it, therefore there is really no time to rest peacefully. Then i will have 2 presentation talk that i have to give which will be quite stressful as it's on the same day.Wheezzz...after that i think i can finally take a break from everything and be off to my holiday in amsterdam.

Christmas is approaching and i havent start writing all my christmas cards yet, have to get it done soon befor ethe christmas rush...and have to get some presents also i suppose if i have time to go to town for some last minute shopping. Ok people pray that you are on my shopping list if not maybe u might at least get a card from me lolx...

It's snowing in UK!!!

Here's an update of me...Have been working non-stop on the bloody firewall program for the company and have been getting problems with it, got it up and running but then again as i forget to save the work onto a disc the whole damm thing was erase by the dept due to some maintence thingy...Hiaz...just have to start all over again i suppose and i finish it in one day on thursday which was great.

The next assignment i need to do is a e-commerce report for nike which is very stressful as this report require to be a team effort and also a presentation will be needed at the end. The big problem is that the instructions on doing this is not clear at all leaving a lot of people baffled about what is neeeded. Hope that the lecturer can clarify this soon as possible as the dateline is on the 10th december.Phew...

Today which is friday i woke up early as the sun was shinning brightly on my window. It was a cold and frosty morning as temperatures drop to 0deg yestrday nite and apperently that created some frost on the ground especially the grass. Too bad i can't post any pics due to the fact i didn't bring my cam along so hopefully maybe i will be able to take some later when i go to town later in the day as i need a break from all the stay-in the hostel.Okies thats for now people will post the pics soon, will try taking black and white pictures today as i bought a couple of rolls of black and white films which i am going to experiment it.Chow!!!

It's all a Conspiracy!!!

I was watching the documentary farenheit 9/11 by micheal moore. It turn out that the whole issue about the US attacking iraq is because it wanted to own the oil field as it has the world 2nd largest oil field and it would be very profitable for the bush company. It was known that the bush company had some doings with the bin laden company in the early days and it seems that they were one of the biggest contributors to the company so i mean WTF man, bush was clearly a very irresponsible person who gave osama bin laden a 2mth head start before taking action on capturing him. Then if the americans know that he is such a irresponsible leader why did they elect him for a bloody 2nd term in office. The whole world must be thinking damm...another four years of destruction SHIT!!!

Seems like the stress is onto me soon as i'm now building a firewall for a client and it seems intresitng i must say but then it really get on my nerves when it doesnt work as i'm using a program called Linux and it seems like you will need to memorise lots of different commands.

It's a lucky weekend!!!

Finally I'm able to blog again after the server was down for the whole weekend. The weekend has been good and lucky for me. I went to Liverpool to for a regional meeting about issues on Singapore and boy the weather was cold and wet and foggy. Alas that's bad as I couldn't take any photos of the place so I went back straight back to Manchester. Upon reaching Manchester a report of a train crash was on the news. It was devastating and I was lucky as I was not on it as the incident happen while I was still on the train. The wreckage was horrendous with the first carriage totally crushed like a wet cloth being squeezed till dry...Woah...Anyway it's over so I'm so lucky...

I was talking to my flatmate with a few friends and apparently it got interesting as we were talking about the human reflex hahaha. Do you know that if you turn your feet clockwise and try writing a six at the same time, your feet won't be able to co-ordinate and it will go anti clockwise straightaway. Try it if you dun believe.

The land of Terry Chocolates!

It was a day filled with excitment from the beginning. Me,edmund, and two other friends decided to follow edmund to york as he will be having a confrence there, so might as well go there also since i never been there before.

The morning was damm shack from the halloween party the nite before yet to recover and only have about 3hrs of sleep before embarking on the journey towards York. We were there at the train station by 6:30am and had to wait for 2 other friends to arrive. Me and edmund was worried we can never get on the train on time as our friends was still on the way...then the annoucement came and say that the train will be arrving at platform 14 which was on the other side of the machester picadilly station. It was a race to the platform for both of my friends and they finally made it in the nick of time. Guess it's the first time they had to rush for a train hahahaah...but anyway as soon as they sat down they doze off leaving me and edmund still awake reading the news and magazines and seeing the scenery.

Upon reaching we could not check into our accomodation as people only check out at 11am so we decided to go and get some nice english breakfast. It was bloody raining again damm the weather in UK. Anyway we had breakfast at a cafeteria which sell some cheap breakfast and boy was i full. Then we decided to walk to York minister and boy was it big and magnificent. It's a damm big cathedral and it take about 240 years to built which was damm long, guess thats the way things goes during the early years. The cathedral has a wall of kings which showcase the 1st king till the last king to rule england and boy was i impressed with the design all was so sophisicated and artistic especially the glass windows. During halfway edmund had to leave for his confrence, he will meet us later for dinner later. Me and my 2 other friends decided to head back to the hostel as we were very tired, as soon as we saw the bed we doze off like we have never slept for ages hahaha...We decided to go to the ghost hunt which was about 1hr+, it prove to be very funny in the process and we enjoyed it a lot with the company of about i think 300 people. Then we had dinner at a restaurant which sell again some english food and it was good in fact we were the last customer in the resturant again.

The very next day we headed to the memorial war garden to take some pictures as i saw some trees which were very nice due to the atumnm season with the golden leaves hanging. Then after that we decided to walk around town where we decided to stop by a cafe again for some coffee and tea. The cakes they sell there was fantastic as it was served in a huge portion and i dun think i can get it back in singapore. Anyway after that we met up with edmund and walk around town and saw a man in some strange apperance in the middle of the streats and we took pictures with him. Later after that we took the city bus and have a tour of york which proved fruitfull and we got some history of york. It was also the base for producing kit-kats but we didn't get to go to the factory and the other was terry choclate factory and they say that if you can smell the orange smell from the factory then it will be a nice weather. After the trip we stop by some shops and get some fish and chips and pies, before heading for the train station back to manchester. Overall York give you the kind of a small english town feeling unlike in manchester but i think i will be bored if i go to York and study hahaha...

Upon reaching manchester we went to oxford street and had steamboat which was very full as it came on a huge plate and it was fun as i havent had it for a long time. Soon we went back home straight and doze off and the time was 12am sunday.
